Faith Over Fear – A Spiritual Journey
In this book, I share my journey from a self-centered and destructive lifestyle with no direction, to a man who experienced a spiritual awakening beyond fear and beyond religion.
At age 24, after living with full vision, I was in an automobile accident that flooded my face with battery acid and burned my eyes beyond repair, leaving me blind.
When blindness happened, I believed nothing worse could follow — yet life became even more difficult.
Only after total surrender to the God of my understanding, and a willingness to seek direction, did a small spark of hope enter my heart.
I learned that faith is the opposite of fear.
Looking back, I now realize my life had been based on fear. Without direction, alcohol led my choices and my path.
When that lifestyle brought me close to death and caused permanent damage to myself and my loved ones, I knew I had to change.
I chose to live by “faith over fear.”
How could I possibly be better off blind than when I had sight?
This book shares the transformation from a fully sighted boy who felt unworthy, to a physically blind man living life fully, with deeper faith, love, and a life beyond my wildest dreams.
