Reviews and acknowledgments

This is a blind man’s book written because there is something profound in a man’s soul that he has courage to share.

For someone ready to throw in the towel, conquer an addiction, or learn to live a full life even though their handicap or upbringing has been a wall to break through, here is a way, a way with no excuses.

Success through God’s love, faithfulness and guidance.

He has never seen a computer screen. He has done the writing the way he speaks, the way it flows in audio, forgoing norms of tight structure and prose.

His words, spoken his way, for the intention of passing his story to people who need hope, help and meaning in their lives.

Praise for “Blindness is Not the End”

I started to read a few chapters in Dan’s book and read the whole book. It is a short book I think about 2.5 hours of reading and it is an easy book to read.

Each chapter ended and I wanted to see the next one before putting it down.

Dan grew up in a home where beer was the answer, not the question. He shows us the problems it can cause and a God-given answer.

I enjoyed every page and just thought it could be longer.

This book transcends human catastrophe and shows an indomitable human spirit overcoming impossible odds because of faith in Jesus Christ.

Daniel Malone’s writing shows a memoir with dramatic milestones, loves and losses, frustrations, and a conquering spirit.

Not only an interesting and complete author, Daniel shows a truly creative heart revealed in the many poems where his evident love pours out in wonderful verse and prose.

I’m proud of you, Dan. You have a powerful, inspirational story to share, and you’ve told it beautifully.

I like the way you’ve included your poetry with your prose. You’ve written a strong testament to your faith and how God worked in your life.

Job well done, my friend.

Dedication

I dedicate this book to my wife Diane.

To put it simply, God has provided an angel for me, to give me the love and encouragement to write this book.

Acknowledgement

I give a big thank you to Charles Brockmeyer, for giving me his encouragement, and gentle guidance, to help me write this book.

As I was writing, his feedback was valuable to me, not only, in a constructive way, but it also was shrouded with unconditional acceptance.

For, at times, I felt that this book was going nowhere.

Now, because of his encouragement, I feel that this book may have fulfilled the full expression of what I wanted to convey.

Thank you, Charles,
